Conference "Business Location Centrope"
Tuesday 24th July in Vienna

The „Business Location CENTROPE“ Conference organised within the project “FDI in CENTROPE” was held on Tuesday 24th July 2007 in Vienna. The international audience became an inside to the economic facts and figures, development of the region as well as insight to the new positioning strategy of the CENTROPE region.

During the last years a great variety of projects and initiatives took place within the Centrope region. The positioning and the promotion of the Business Location Centrope on national und international level brought its fruits already. Today the region looks back on almost 5 years experience and practice in joint location marketing together.

In order to exploit the future business opportunities to the full, also the development of a long-term marketing strategy of the CENTROPE region is a common goal. Together with the project partners and the international consulting agency Arthesia the Joint Regional Development Strategy - CENTROPE Themeworld was developed and published in the CENTROPE Whitebook. FDI in Centrope Project facts

The diversity of qualities in the economic area and living space CENTROPE offers numerous still unused opportunities for cooperations and innovation. The initiative CENTROPE supports the process of integration by a systematic developement of communication structures, matching of common interests and the realisation of pilot projects for a dynamic growth in the 4-countries border region of Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria.
